Eskom and energy and chemical organization, Sasol, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to "collaboratively discover and study prospective long term liquified natural gas (LNG) requirements".
This can be according to a joint statement by the two organizations, following the signing ceremony of the MoU on Friday.
"The collaboration aims to find out the likely volumes that South Africa involves to ascertain a practical LNG import sector, combined with the enabling infrastructure, and may be facilitated by authorities-to-government relations the place required."
